 2018-2019 School Year Lottery Application

The lottery application period for next school year runs from

midnight, January 2nd – midnight, January 31st.

Lottery applications will be done online. 

There will be a link posted here starting at midnight, January 2nd. 

No lottery applications will be accepted outside of this time frame.

Open spots are filled through a random lottery system. 

KTEC will host two information meetings providing information

about KTEC curriculum, culture, and expectations.

Information Meetings:

Saturday, January 13th 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM

Thursday, January 18th 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM

Meetings are in the auditorium at the west campus: 5710 32nd Avenue

Accelerated Reader Update:

Due to the recent updates and glitches with Accelerated Reader, we have extended the Quarter 2 quizzing window. Students can quiz until the end of the day Friday, January 26th. If your child has met both their point and comprehension goal by Friday, January 26th they will receive a bowling permission slip on Monday, January 29th. Permission slip is due Friday, February 2nd. Bowling trips to Sheridan Lanes will take place the week of February 5th.  HomeConnect is not working. We are in communication with RenLearn about HomeConnect and hope to have the issue resolved soon.

As  a public charter school we receive state education funds; however, 20% of it goes back to the district.  We receive no city tax dollars. We charge no tuition.   Your tax deductible donation allows us to maintain our facilities, update our technology and provide professional development.  Thank you!
