Mr. Hodges

This summer KTEC middle-school students are participating in the Junior Achievement Company Program.  They create a business, pick a product, secure financing, design, produce and sell the product.  They are donating all profits to The Shalom Center.  This is the third year KTEC has participated in this program.  Leeward Business Advisors is once again facilitating the company meetings and mentoring the students.

This year, Ace Innovative will be producing and selling coffee candles.  Stay tuned for more details to come!

KTEC has many ways to share all the things going on. If you click on the social media links at the top right of this page, you can see students at work, great information about STEM and education, and get reminders & updates about KTEC and community events.

Our KTEC Facebook Page has daily posts with photos and videos of students, event reminders, and other relevant information.   Subscribe to the Kenosha School of Technology Enhanced Curriculum’s YouTube channel to see videos of district competitions, performances, and our KTEC students in action.   We even have a Pinterest page! You can find great engineering crafts, experiments, articles on STEM and how to help your children succeed, inspirational stories about amazing discoveries and people achieving amazing things, links to great websites for students, and of course some humor!   KTEC shares our accomplishments and connects globally with other educators, engineers, corporations, and more through our @KTECschool twitter account and Linkedin

Why should I invest in KTEC?

As  a public charter school we receive state education funds; however, 20% of it goes back to the district.  We receive no city tax dollars. We charge no tuition.   Your tax deductible donation allows us to maintain our facilities, update our technology and provide professional development.  Thank you!
