July 24 Press Release


KTEC middle-school students participating in the Junior Achievement Company Program have created a company named Prestige Midwest.  They have designed the “T.-C.U.B.E.”  They will be pitching their company plan to potential investors next week.  Follow them on social media to watch their progress and find out where you can buy your own T.-C.U.B.E.

You will also need to attend the KTEC registration in August. This will be for specific KTEC forms and information.

You need to register through KUSD BEFORE you attend the KTEC registrations.

KTEC registration dates:
August 14th 8-4 at the west campus
August 15th 12-7 at the west campus
August 17th 12-7 at the east campus
You can register at any of the dates/campuses listed above.

Media Release Consent

The KUSD registration process will ask you to “consent” or “not consent” to the KUSD media release.  Please read the media release carefully. Be aware that if you “do not consent” your child’s name, classwork, and image cannot be used. This means your child’s school work cannot be hung in the hallway, classroom or entered into any district competitions;  they cannot be a part of any classroom photographs or displays using names/pictures; and their names cannot be read on the school announcements on their birthday or to recognize school accomplishments.

This is KTEC’s second year attending. There will be food, music, and community  partners all working together to connect the community with non-profit initiatives.

Community engagement like this allows KTEC to offer our students real-world experience and opportunities!
