The mission of Kenosha School of Technology Enhanced Curriculum (KTEC), a charter PreK-8 school that engages all students in an innovative learning environment, is to prepare students for success in a global society through academic excellence by the use of 21st Century skills and technology integration.
Yearbook order forms were sent home in Wednesday Folders. Forms and payment are due March 13th.
Books are all color for $12.00

KTEC West is working on a Starry Night Mural in the art room and looking for donated flat house paint donations. Any color will work, but colors we are specifically looking for are blues, yellows, white, black, brown.
Middle-school students in the Lincoln boundaries: Track and Field athletes: there will be a mandatory parent/guardian and athlete informational meeting on Thursday, March 5th at 4:15 pm in the cafeteria. 6th, 7th and 8th Boys and Girls are welcome.
Middle school girls interested in trying out for the Lincoln Lady Knights Volleyball team need to attend the parent and player meeting on Thursday, March 12 from 6-7pm the Lincoln Cafeteria. Come by to meet Coach Andy and Coach Brad while you get all of the paperwork and information needed to tryout.
Girls in 6th, 7th, & 8th grade who live in the Lance boundaries: If you are interested in trying out for girls volleyball there is a meeting Thursday, 2/26 at 4:00 P.M.
Did your child sign up for the Chocolate, chocolate, chocolate class? Due to an overwhelming response, we are going to have to split the class into 3 classes. If your student’s last name starts with the letter:
A-D your class will be on Feb 20
E- M- your class will be on March 6
N-Z – your class will be on March 20

|Milwaukee Bucks and Wendy’s are pleased to announce that ATTENDANCE MATTERS! will be in place again this season. This program will enable any student who achieves perfect classroom attendance during the month of February the opportunity to receive a special complimentary ticket offer to attend a Bucks game (available dates are as follows: March 28 against the Golden State Warriors, April 4 against the Orlando Magic, or April 12 against the Toronto Raptors). In addition, student attendees will receive a choice of either a free kids meal or single combo hamburger meal at Wendy’s and the opportunity to shoot a post-game free throw on the Bucks court!With the implementation of Infinite Campus at the start of this school year, it is important to note that attendance is now a minute based system. Any amount of time your child is taken out of school will reflect on their attendance record.Be in school, be on time and…. “Let’s Go Bucks”!|

|In a field of tough competition, Sam A. and Jet S. competed in the Regional Spelling Bee V on Friday night. The bee included 3rd-8th graders from several districts in southeastern Wisconsin. After many spelling and vocabulary rounds, Sam and Jet both finished in the top 10. Well-done boys.|
Josh won an autographed Jordy Nelson Jersey by earning the most points in the Play60 “4th and Goal” contest!
|KUSD has changed its calendar to make up missed time from school closings. KTEC has not. There is NO CHANGE to the KTEC student calendar.The Wisconsin charter school law gives charter schools freedom from most state rules and regulations in exchange for greater accountability for results. KUSD charter schools have school board approved exemptions to the DPI minute requirements.|
