STAR Badger Exams   The state-mandated Badger Exam in grades 3-8 begins at KTEC on April 13th and continues through May.  The computer-based tests will evaluate our students’ skills in math and English/Language Arts.

We ask that families support this process by ensuring their student has plenty of rest, a healthy breakfast and lunch, and an on-time school arrival.

We ask the families of our Pre-K – 2nd grade students to encourage respectful and quiet hallway behavior.  Please contact your student’s teacher if you would like additional information.

KUSD has changed its calendar to make up missed time from school closings. KTEC has not. There is NO CHANGE to the KTEC student calendar. The Wisconsin charter school law gives charter schools freedom from most state rules and regulations in exchange for greater accountability for results. KUSD charter schools have school board approved exemptions to the DPI minute requirements.
